Tucson Helps Stuff The Bus

It's the season of giving! and what better way to give than to help a child in need have a wonderful Christmas. The Salvation Army has teamed up with Walmart, IHeartMedia Tucson and SunTran to Stuff The Bus. New unwrapped gifts will be loaded onto the bus and be distributed to local children in need.

On Friday, December 14, 2018 from 6AM-6PM two Suntran busses were stuffed with toys for kids of all ages, ranging from babies to tweens. Coloring books, board games, bikes, barbies and so much more were generously donated.

The Tucson community most definitely showed up and showed out for this event. Young children were so excited to add toys onto the bus, folks pulled up their trucks to unload bags and bags of toys. People who were just buying groceries at Walmart made sure to stop by the toy aisle to grab a toy then came to donate. Imagine those children’s faces Christmas morning opening up their gifts! A special thank you to Salvation Army, SunTran, Walmart, IHeartMedia Tucson and everyone who donated, you truly made a difference in someone’s life this Christmas.
