The award-winning author of Disney’s Coco book “Miguel and the Amazing Alebrijes” will be coming to Tucson Thursday to help kids get in the Halloween and Dia de los Muertos spirit.
Roni Capin Rivera-Ashford will host a book reading event Oct. 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the McDonald’s located at 3310 E. 22nd St. near Country Club Road. At the event, patrons are invited to come dressed up in their Halloween costumes or Dia de los Muertos attire, and participate in various fun activities.
According to officials, 25 lucky guests will receive a signed copy of the Disney book.
