Megan Thee Stallion is back with her brand-new single.
On Friday, April 25, the Houston native released her latest song "Whenever" produced by Bankroll Got It. Meg serves up more slick, hard-hitting verses alongside a sample of Ms. Cherry's hit "It's Whateva." The bass-filled bop is Meg's first solo track of the year. She first teased the track last weekend before she hit the stage for her second performance at Coachella. During her stint in Indio Valley, Megan performed a slew of hits from her recent projects and brought out special guests like Queen Latifah, Victoria Monét and Ciara.
"Make no mistake, just 'cause I'm cute in this b***h don't mean I won't run in your s**t," she raps. "Yeah, it's smoke, whenever the ho see me out, she already know what I'm on/Flip-flop hoes actin' fake, I'ma chip-chop/Say she don't know me, she fanned out on TikTok."
Megan Thee Stallion also dropped the official music video to celebrate the song's release. In the visually stunning video, Meg crashes into an office, stretches herself out on the reception desk and flaunts her banging body in a fish tank. She also plays chess, not checkers, and drives through the desert with her homegirls as she lays down her verses.
"Whenever" is the first solo single she dropped since her deluxe album MEGAN: ACT II arrived last October. The double-album includes 13 additional tracks alongside collaborations with Flo Milli, RM of BTS, TWICE and Spiritbox.
