A slew of women who made an impact in Hip-Hop were honored for their contributions by a top-notch restaurant in New York City.
On Monday, March 3, Sei Less debuted its exclusive Women’s History Month-themed menu as a tribute to the ladies in the entertainment and media industries. Fans will find meals inspired by the likes of Angie Martinez, Cardi B, Ice Spice, Teyana Taylor, Lil' Kim and more. Some of the items include The Cardi B Lobster Spoons, which is her favorite dish, The Angela Yee chicken lo mein, and The Ice Spice vegetable fried rice.
"We’re very fortunate to receive such amazing support from this incredible group of women from the greater New York area, so as a heartfelt tribute, we wanted to honor these remarkable trailblazers and their impact on culture in our own special New York way," Sei Less founder Dara Mirjahangiry said. "We’re proud to celebrate their creativity and influence with a special menu for Women’s History Month tailored to some of their favorite dishes whenever they visit the restaurant. They have been long-time supporters of Sei Less and this gesture is simply our unique way of expressing our gratitude.”
Since its inception in 2022, Sei Less has attracted numerous celebrities and garnered support from the hip-hop community. Fabolous, French Montana, Travis Scott and Ice Spice have rapped about Sei Less in their music. In 2023, the restaurant also saluted rap pioneers by creating a menu in honor of Hip-Hop's 50th anniversary.
The special Women's History Month menu is included in the Asian fusion restaurant's $50 prix-fixe menu that comes with three appetizers, four entrées and two desserts. Check out the full menu here.
