Master P's son was recently arrested with two other men for allegedly stealing some refrigerators from outside their school's bookstore, but their coach says the entire situation is being blown out of proportion.

It all started last month when Hercy Miller and two of his teammates from the Southern Utah University men's basketball team were apprehended by police after they were accused of third-degree theft. According to KUTV, Miller and his teammates Brock Felder and Peter Dadson took two refrigerators from the loading dock of the SUU bookstore, put them in their cars and drove off. The entire scene was caught on the building's security cameras.

In the probable cause affidavit, police say they visited Felder and Miller's apartment after identifying them from the footage. While speaking to them, one of the officers said they could see the fridge in question through the front window. When they asked Miller about the items, he admitted to taking both fridges because he thought they were being tossed out. Miller claimed that he saw the fridges in the back of the bookstore for "almost a month." He even led them to his garage where he put the other cooler.

Both fridges are worth $1,500 each. All three student-athletes were arrested and charged with felony theft. Despite their legal troubles, all three have continued to play for the Thunderbirds without any consequences. The team's head coach Rob Jeter told TMZ the entire debacle is "a huge misunderstanding." He also said "the university is working to get this thing resolved quickly."

Miller and his teammates have never caused any trouble for the team or the university in the past. Their coach believes this will all be resolved soon. As of this report, neither Hercy Miller nor his father have commented on the situation.
