Police Trying To Identify 'Doggie Door Bandit' Who Burglarized Home

Authorities in Oregon are asking the public for help identifying a suspect who used a family's large doggie door to break into their home. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office released video footage of the suspect crawling through the door early last week.

The suspect was captured peeking through the windows of the home before deciding to break in. As he squeezed through the doggie door, he noticed a surveillance camera was pointed directly at him and he quickly pulled his hood over his face to try to hide his identity. He then grabbed a blanket to cover the camera before stealing jewelry and electronics from the family's house.

Anybody who recognizes the suspect can report an anonymous tip online using case number 19-007516.
