Kylie Jenner Got Mom-Shamed And The Internet Wasn't Having It

Kylie Jenner is a mom, but she is also a 20-year-old, and both moms and 20-year-olds are allowed to have fun. So when a gossip blog called out the reality star for spending some time enjoying herself at Coachella this past weekend and not being with her 2-and-a-half-month-old daughter Stormi, no one was having it.

Whether you are a fan of Kylie's or not, calling out any mother for taking time to just enjoy life on her own is not acceptable. Being a mom is one of the hardest jobs out there and every mother deserves a break every so often.

The whole thing started after Kylie posted a photo of herself at the annual festival, captioning it, "I'm not a regular mom I'm a cool mom."

When a gossip blogger used it as an opportunity to slam Kylie for leaving her daughter at home, the internet went after him.

First off, they pointed out how what she did was actually pretty responsible:

Others explained that parents are allowed time off:

And then there is the double standard with mom-shaming and not dad-shaming since Stormi's father, Travis Scott, was also there:

Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of mom-shaming.
