Park Place Mall Hosts Family-Friendly Rodeo Roundup

Park Place Mall

Saddle up, Tucsonans, because Park Place Mall is hosting a rodeo-themed celebration for the whole family on Saturday, Feb. 8.

In honor of the Tucson Rodeo’s 100th anniversary, the cowboy spirit of the southwest is coming to the Park Place Mall Center Court between noon and 2 p.m. with activities for all ages. From roping tricks to mechanical bull rides, Park Place has everything you need to kick up your boots and have a blast.

A roundup of what’s happening:

  • Test your bull-riding skills and see how long you can hold on to the mechanical bull
  • Watch impressive roping tricks performed live by the Tucson Boys Chorus
  • Create fun crafts with This and That Creative, as supplies last
  • Enjoy folklorico and line dancing by the Arizona Folk Dance Company
  • Snap a picture in true Western style at the photo booth

“We’re excited to be part of the Tucson Rodeo tradition and bring that local spirit to Park Place Mall,” said Miranda Mayuiers, the mall’s marketing and local leasing manager. “As a community space, we’re proud to host an event that celebrates the rodeo and offers a fun experience for everyone to enjoy.”
